Sales Engineering

Most early stage companies need a top notch Sales Engineer to kick off the customer facing side of the organization. We specialize in finding that first one in, and building out a team around them when the company is scaling. We consider it the most crucial hiring for a startup, and the essential piece of the sales org once things are rolling. This hard-to-find role is special for the type of personality it demands, the ability to sell coupled with the ability to get in the weeds technically. A true unicorn for the right company.


Sales

Probably our most common work, or certainly on par with the Sales Engineering role. When you need that first sales hire full of a heavy engineering org, we are the firm for you. We always have a stable of leadership candidates to be your next CRO/VP Sales, or that strong sales candidate looking to take on a leadership role. In addition, we will always be there to help build around that leader when it is time to put a strong rep in each corner of the country and beyond.


Marketing

Marketing hires are crucial to the organization, as they generally are the ones developing the plan of attack and how it will look to the customer in the public eye. We find that this person is really a do-it-all type, and we have had a tremendous amount of success placing folks that can build a marketing plan from scratch, whether it be product or consumer focused.


Product

Whether it is more product management focused, or product marketing focused, we find the best talent to really sink their teeth into what you are building, and take it to the masses. These people have been former sales engineers, software engineers, strictly product, or really any part of the organization, but have a strong technical aptitude and like to fix problems.


Talent

When the time is right, all companies look for a head of talent/people. Most often for our purposes, these candidates are “recruiting” driven, have the requisite HR designations (or are willing to get them), and just want to put their stamp on the makeup of the organization. We love to find people with Philosophy backgrounds, that can pick out subtle traits that make a great “team”.


Finance

Like it or not, at some point, you need a finance wizard in your organization, whether it be to put comp plans together, help with pricing, or g out for another round of funding, this person is crucial to the success of the organization. Former CPAs are a good start, but this role involves much more than that in the tech world.
